The latest version of hawo’s rotary sealing devices feature the hawo IntelligentScan technology and can be operated fully using a barcode scanner, making them even easier to use, and consequently configured for various packaging materials. The hd/hm 980 BR or hd/hm 980 BR-USB scanner read in the custom specified packaging information and assigns it automatically to the appropriate device function.

Diese Informationen werden dann nach erfolgreicher Siegelung zusammen mit dem Verfallsdatum und einem HIBC (Health Industry Bar Code) auf einem Etikett für die Verpackungskennzeichnung ausgegeben. Nach erfolgter Anwendung des Instrumentes kann entweder das Etikett von der Verpackung abgezogen und in die Patientenakte geklebt oder der HIBC gescannt und in der elektronischen Patientenakte hinterlegt werden. Das intelligente Scansystem erkennt, ob es sich um einen Verpackernamen, eine Produktinformation oder um eine Chargennummer handelt und ordnet diese Information automatisch dem genormten Symbol auf dem Etikett zu.

EASY AND SAFE PACKAGING IN 3 STEPS:


1. Create the barcode lists to configure the sealing devices with the help of the software hs 980 BR. Printing the barcode list on a standard printer.

2. Reading the barcodes with the help of the barcode scanner for programming the sealing device.

3. Start the sealing process by inserting the sterile packaging. The device automatically prints the preset information on the sterile packaging during sealing.
